Ernst & Young Relocating to Wills Wharf

Armada Hoffler Properties and Beatty Development Group announced today that accounting services firm Ernst & Young (EY) has signed an office lease at Wills Wharf, the waterfront office/hotel set to open early Spring 2020 at Harbor Point. One of the largest professional services firms in the world, EY will relocate from its current location at 621 E. Pratt Street to its new Harbor Point location in 2020.

“Our new space at Harbor Point will be a collaborative work environment that embraces flexibility, encourages productivity and will have state-of-the-art technology, which is all a part of our global ‘EY@Work’ concept,” said Arun Subhas, EY Baltimore Office Managing Partner. “The building is designed with sustainability in mind, and will provide increased utility, modernization and amenities for our people.”

“We’re pleased to welcome EY to Harbor Point,” said Michael Beatty, President, Beatty Development Group. “Harbor Point offers tenants a unique office environment unlike anything else in Baltimore right now. The combination of state-of-the-art buildings, abundant green space right on the water, and convenient access to the surrounding neighborhoods make it the kind of place where people look forward to coming to work every day.”

“We are excited to welcome EY as the newest tenant to Wills Wharf,” said Louis Haddad, President and Chief Executive Officer of Armada Hoffler Properties. “Wills Wharf is continuing to prove to be one of Harbor Point’s most desirable locations for organizations looking for long-term value and we are thrilled to offer tenants a premier space to grow their business.”

Wills Wharf is a 12-story, 330,000 square foot waterfront building with 236,000 square feet of Class A office space and a 156-room Canopy by Hilton hotel. At Wills Wharf, EY will join previously announced coworking space provider WeWork, digital marketing firm Jellyfish, and Bright Horizons child care.

Located at the gateway to the Inner Harbor, between Harbor East and historic Fell’s Point, Harbor Point is a 27-acre mixed-use project with a planned three million square feet of office, retail, residential and hotel uses, as well as 9.5 acres of open space.

JLL’s Rob Freedman and Peter Jackson represented Armada Hoffler in the transaction; Clare Berrang, Dina Deutsch, and Mike Singer with Newmark Knight Frank represented EY.
