President

Michael S. Beatty is the President and Founder of Beatty Development Group. Michael has a track record of creating successful projects in and around Baltimore and since 1995, has led the development of over 6 million square feet of mixed-use real estate. Through the fostering of great business relationships and public-private partnerships, Michael’s projects are exemplary models of new urbanism and sustainable design. He believes in creating dynamic neighborhoods that couple Class A office space with vibrant restaurants, exciting retail, hotels and a variety of residential options. Many of his buildings have won awards, most notably ULI’s Wave Maker Awards in 2009 and 2012, and Michael himself is widely recognized as one of the top business leaders in Baltimore. He serves on the Boards of Johns Hopkins – Bayview, Central Maryland Transportation Alliance (CMTA), Maryland Institute College of Art, and is a founding member of Waterfront Partnership. Michael enjoys traveling with his family, sailing and cooking.

Vice President - Asset Management

Cathie is Vice President of Asset Management for BDG and is responsible for asset management, leasing, marketing, and corporate operations. Cathie is focused on creating vibrant urban environments by attracting high-quality retail tenants and maintaining the highest standards for operations and management. Cathie has thirty years of real estate experience with an extensive background in asset management of large retail projects on the East coast. Cathie enjoys drawing, gardening and golf.

Bob Gentry

Bob Gentry

Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer for BDG, Bob Gentry is responsible for treasury, accounting and financial reporting functions. He has 30-plus years of construction and development industry experience, encompassing completion of complex land transactions and joint venture arrangements. Bob holds an MPA (Master of Professional Accountancy) from Loyola College in Baltimore and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. An amateur woodworker in his spare time, Bob also enjoys learning new languages.

Tim Pula

Tim Pula

Senior Development Director

Tim is a Senior Development Director for BDG with eighteen years of development management experience in the Baltimore market, having guided multidisciplinary teams in the development of the Bagby Building, Stieff Silver building, Clipper Mill and the National Aquarium’s Blacktip Reef renovation. His development experience is comprehensive and includes – property acquisition, securing entitlements and financing, guiding the design process and overseeing construction. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing soccer, coaching his daughter’s club soccer team, biking and sailing.

Jonathan Flesher

Senior Development Director

Jonathan is the Senior Development Director for BDG and manages master plans, infrastructure designs, entitlement processes and surrounding site work for Harbor Point. Jonathan’s previous three projects: Clipper Mill, the Legg Mason Tower and Thames Street Wharf have been recognized as ULI award winners in 2008, 2009 and 2011 respectively. With a background in community planning, sustainable development and urban geography, he is passionate about creating dynamic urban environments. Jonathan enjoys photography, reading and spending time with his wife and son.

Andrew Bauer

Senior Construction Manager

Drew Bauer is a Senior Construction Manager for Beatty Development Group (BDG), and manages, coordinates and implements the design and construction work at Harbor Point. With twenty years of construction management experience, he has a diverse background and knowledge of commercial, design-build, federal, municipal and mechanical construction. Drew is well versed in urban, mixed-use projects in Baltimore City having worked on the Legg Mason, Four Seasons and Thames Street Wharf projects. He enjoys golfing, boating, coaching his son's sports teams and spending time with family.

Development Director

Charlie is a Development Director for BDG and focuses on coordinating construction activities for the Exelon Tower at Harbor Point. His multidisciplinary background in civil engineering, planning, and affordable housing provides him with a unique perspective for urban development and policy. Charlie strives to instill sustainable economic and socially conscious development practices into his work. During his free time, Charlie enjoys cooking, sports and spending time at the beach.

Chris is an Associate Development Director at BDG and provides research and financial analysis supporting the development of the Exelon Tower and surrounding parcels at Harbor Point. As a Baltimore native, Chris is committed to improving the City through the development of innovative and sustainable projects and the creation of contemporary urban environments. Chris enjoys traveling, exercising and expanding his culinary horizons.

Manager of Marketing and Communications

Chris is the Manager of Marketing and Communications at BDG. He is responsible for implementing all of Beatty Development’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Chris has more than ten years of marketing and communications experience and is focused on developing new marketing initiatives that further enhance Beatty Development’s brand and promote continued growth. He enjoys running, reading and spending time with his wife and son.

Controller

Eileen is the Controller for BDG. She is responsible for all the accounting needs of the company and provides financial information to senior management and outside partners and investors. With over 30 years experience in the accounting field Eileen is committed to providing high quality financial reporting and oversight of the growing accounting department. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Office Manager

Suzanne is the Office Manager for BDG. She assists all of the Executive staff, as well as manages the daily operations of the office. With a strong work ethic, and dedication to the growth of BDG she is an integral member of the organization. Suzanne has a diverse background that includes business and construction management in addition to property management. Suzanne enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
